I’m a writer specializing in business development and digital content for business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) companies. My writing engages customers and funders and converts leads into new business.
I have 13 years of writing and editing experience in the private and nonprofit sectors. In addition, I have more than 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in both international development and construction. Throughout my career I’ve worked in business development, leading bids, proposals, and capture efforts for research projects, federal programs, and construction projects. My Approach
Every writing assignment I take on begins and ends with audience analysis: First determining who the intended audience is and what their needs are, and last ensuring that those needs are met. Once I understand the audience, I focus on crafting the narrative.
Every endeavor—be it a business, a project, or a product—has a story. The narrative is the telling of that story. Successful businesses and projects tell their story in a way that connects to their intended audience (customers) and induces a desired action.
